The kitchen "the heart of the home". First turned into a caricature of itself to adapt to a workplace environment, before morphing into a grotesque, nightmarish vision, as the staff kitchen; is left to decompose just like so many discarded banana peels before it.

The images depict a husk of domestic charm, ripped of its soul and placed in a workplace setting; for disillusioned workers to hastily make their bitter instant coffee, microwave their value ready meal, eat it, and clean up, all before their allotted 40-minute unpaid lunch break ends.
5 days a week every week.

This is but a cruel imitation of domestic bliss. A Subtle torture. A stove, an oven, a microwave, and the kitchen sink: appliances for making emptiness. The repugnant recreation of a bastardised domestic space will inevitably waste away, leaving behind this horrific scene.
